Colourful bird, passionate, enthusiastic, brave to embrace any challenges in life, loves to travel and meet new people, successful entrepreneur, and mum to Natalie – this is how I can describe Agnieszka.
Less than 18 months ago Agnieszka decided to get in touch with me to go through the unique programme The Art of Dressing.
Just recently I have received some feedback from her which is based on a few questions I had asked her the other day on her experience of The Art of Dressing sessions.
Photos have been taken to showcase the journey Agnieszka has been on so far.
Why have you decided to sign up for The Art of Dressing sessions with me?
To be honest I had believed that I knew how to dress well, and I was convinced I do everything right when it comes to dressing up. I must admit that I wanted to try you up to see whether you could surprise me with anything or not. And you did.
I used to have a wardrobe full of clothes however I did struggle with the fact what to wear when it came to pick up an outfit appropriate for a specific occasion. It turned out that 80% of my clothes were either of non-flattering colour or style or size for me and I needed to get rid of them.
I wanted to create a capsule wardrobe that would consist of a nice selection of easy to wear garments that are in my colour palette, suit my body proportions and are of a good quality however doing that on my own it was not possible.
Thanks to your help and guidance it turned out that it is not only possible but easy and enjoyable at the same time.
How do you find the implementation of new colour palette, styles, managing your wardrobe and the shopping experience?
The mini colour fan does make it easier to decide what to buy and what not to. I do not waste lots of time any more trying to figure out what suits me and what does not. I find now that I can recognise the colour from my palette more often than before however I would always double-check comparing it to the colour fan I have as I want to make the right choice.
Learning about styles has proved not to be easy. I have found some style solutions quicker to get my head around and other I am still learning about. Combining different styles of tops with trousers and choosing the most flattering types of jewellery I still find quite challenging.
I have to say that I buy less than I used to. I only pick the styles that are most flattering for me.
What did you find most challenging during the Art of Dressing programme?
Accessories, I mean how to choose the styles that would be most flattering such as earrings, handbags, the choice of hairstyle, shoes. How to recognise the type of the fabric and what fabric would go best with other type of fabric so I end up with flattering outfit. The amount of knowledge that I have been passed on at the very beginning was overwhelming. I had to take time to let it sink in. It did help me a lot that each step (session) took place every few months. Now I find it a lot easier to implement the changes.
What did you find most unexpected during the programme?
I am pleasantly surprised that the programme has had an impact on my confidence. I can choose the right outfit for any occasion very quickly now.
Ongoing support I have received from you helped me to go through the moments I have had my doubts or uncertainties.
Your extensive knowledge and approach has been helping me so I can learn new habits and always choose and create appropriate outfits that would guarantee a wow effect.
